  This folder contains files/links highlighting the recent announcement
  by Italian Scientists ~1/24/11 that they have developed sustained
  "Cold Fusion" using the metal Nickel and normal/light Hydrogen.
  These are commonly available elements, cheaper than the
  Paladium / deuterium system also proven to work by 
  Pons and Fleishman of Univ of Utah.

  Using their "secret" method and prototype they can produce
  30 times  more energy than is consumed to ignite and then 
  sustain the reaction.

  Although they do not present a complete theory on how their
  system works, they do prove that the energy produced is
  much more than any normal "chemical" process but must be
  "nuclear" in nature.

  Although their US patent has not yet been approved, they are
  proceding into the manufacturing stage and will sell units
  targeted to produce power at the 1 Megawatt level. 
  They estimate that their commercial unit will provide energy 
  at a cost of 1cent per kilowatt-hour.

  Recently Godes, et al have published a slide show and paper
  which to my best estimation is the correct theory to explain
  how this Cold or "Quantum" Fusion energy is produced.
  Thus Godes puts this into "Public Domain" so that all peoples
  may make use of this regardless of any patents.

  It is my hope that this method of energy production is developed
  quickly and then replaces fossil-fuel burning,  solar and nuclear
  forms of energy production.  Thus "Global Warming" can be
  slowed down and  perhaps reversed.  Hopefully this new
  "Cold Fusion" economy will help all the people of the world prosper.
